Publishing a mobile website
Once you are happy with your mobile project you can publish it at
ubik.net. You can also use a custom domain name.
To publish your website:
- Go to the editor or dashboard and click Publish This Site
- You may modify the URL address of your website when publishing it for the
first time. If you own a domain name, you can use that too. Learn more...
Tip: No special or upper-case characters should be used for the
name of a website. Nor should names start or end with '-'.
- Pick the Announce option to post an update about your newly published
site to social network services. Currently only Facebook is supported. Learn more...
- UBIK.com can generate a site map file containing information about the
structure of your mobile project. This helps search engines properly index
your website. If you choose this option, you'll be provided with a link to
the site map file when the publish process is completed. You can use this
link to register your mobile website with search engines. Refer to search
engine documentation for further information.
- Tags such as music, news or sport, help to classify your site, making it easy to find. Click
Add Tags to tag your mobile website. See also Website profile.
- Click Publish Site to complete the process
When the publish process is completed, you'll see a confirmation message containing the
publish URL address. You can view your newly published site by entering this URL on your
mobile phone.
