Integration with Facebook

Facebook is a social community portal that is frequently used by internet users. By performing a few quick steps, you can integrate your Facebook account into the UBIK.com portal containing your mobile site(s). This allows you to:

• list all your published mobile sites in Facebook for your friends to see
• view your Facebook friends' list of mobile sites
• view updates/comments from other Facebook users about their mobile sites
• send updates about your mobile site(s) to your Facebook friends via Mini or News feeds.

Tip: You can access your own Mini-Feeds by clicking Profile at the top of the Facebook portal page. To view your friends Mini-Feeds open their profile page. Clicking home lets you see the News Feeds.

To integrate your UBIK.com account into Facebook:

1. Click Enable Facebook when publishing your site. You will be taken to the Facebook login/register screen.
2. If you already have an account, sign in to Facebook. Otherwise, register first and follow the instructions provided.
3. Once you are signed in, click the Add UBIK button to add the UBIK.com widget to your Facebook account.
4. Click the UBIK application listed on the left
5. Pick the Settings tab
6. Click Authorize your UBIK.com account. Your UBIK.com account is now properly integrated into Facebook.

Once you’ve finished integrating UBIK.com account with Facebook, several useful items will appear on your Facebook profile page. The Mini-Feeds will now include information about all your mobile site updates. Additionally, a UBIK box will list all your currently published mobile sites.

Posting comments to Facebook

When you publish your modified contents in UBIK.com, you can post update comments about the changes that then appear in Facebook as feeds. Make sure you check the Send Update to Facebook option located in the Announce section of the Publish Site page. Learn more...
